The business which is operates multiple sports related business in football coaching, consultancy and retail, has been on the rise before COVID19. having faced a major slowdown due during COVID19 and through FHL Business Management & Advisory department, the Executive Board decided to buy 80% of the total business to ensure business continuity in a market that seem to be open for a major player in the transformation of Football.
“Football is the most popular sport in Botswana but its development is still way below the standard of neighbouring countries like South Africa and Zambia. We saw an opportunity to make a change in the industry and transform the perception of football as a recreational sport into an industry that contributes to the economy of Botswana. We anticipate to ignite the love and passion for the sport again through programmes that allow players in the market to see opportunities beyond Botswana and Africa” said the CEO & Founder of Floyd Holdings. The management team of Blessing Mugumwa, Michael Walsh and Cynthia Chikadaya remains unchanged. Furthermore, all the staff, processes and services also remain unchanged.
